Transportation

Transportation Resources

Independence is an important part of aging well. MAC advocates for better and increased transportation options in our community and region. At this time, Whistler has no “Handy Dart” or volunteer driver program to assist seniors with transport to medical appointments.
MAC also provides resources, information and support to facilitate transport for people over 55 including mobility and transport aids.

The Valley Trail

Whistler has an extensive paved, two-lane trail network woven throughout the community that is accessible for walking, bike riding, wheelchairs and strollers.

The Valley Trail in Whistler serves as a scenic pathway linking the resort’s diverse neighborhoods, stretching from Function Junction in the south to Emerald in the north. Along its route, it traverses through key areas such as the Village, Upper Village, and Creekside, while also winding through various residential areas, providing a picturesque and accessible route for both locals and visitors to explore the beauty of Whistler.
