The Mature Action Community is for people of all ages who are interested in taking action towards a future in Whistler that is age-friendly and sustainable for seniors.
Whether you are beginning to think about your retirement in 10 years, are a caregiver to a senior, a supportive family member looking for help, or are a person 55+ seeking ways to live and age well in place, MAC welcomes you.
We know that in Whistler, older people break all the stereotypes. Our interests are diverse. We enjoy outdoor activities like skiing, biking, hiking, and gardening. We’ve also got a wide range of other interests, like quilting, woodwork, baking, painting, and reading, to name just a few. We are energetically engaged in the community, working, volunteering, and getting involved in social and cultural activities.
We also know that as we age, our needs change. At MAC, our aim is to address barriers for older people so that Whistler is a place where we can all live and age well.
We invite you to connect with our fun, friendly organization. Welcome to MAC.
