Seniors provide a wealth of experience and historic knowledge to our community, and typically provide a high degree of volunteerism. A brief look at MAC's Board of Directors indicates the diversity of skills that are typical of our seniors in Whistler.
I’m a native British Columbian who came to Whistler from the Greater Vancouver area in 1969 to ski for the first time. That was all it took, the “hook was in” and as luck would have it, my wife Gail and I moved here permanently in 1996. I was a realtor for 40 years (the last 20 in Whistler) and retired in 2015. We keep active and young at heart skiing, biking, golfing, snow shoeing, playing tennis and pickle ball. In our retirement we both have found time to join and support various not for profit societies and enjoy volunteering when possible. I am delighted to be on the MAC Board of Directors and look forward seeing what is in the future for this wonderful organization.
